National Fishing Month launched on 20th July with the sole objective of encouraging as many people as possible to try their hand at fishing.
The Wandle Piscators is very pleased to be part of this initiative and our Open Day on Sunday (29th July) will be one of 250 NFM events across the country.
Steve Dedman, our first Level One coarse angling coach, will be joining other coaches from Catch21 and the Angling Development Board to give free taster sessions to juniors and disabled anglers between 11am and 4pm at Cannon Hill Common Lake on Sunday. EA fishing licences, tackle and bait will be provided for the sessions.
Other club members will be giving fly tying and float making demonstrations and guided pond dipping sessions.
